While the pitch was not too difficult to bat on, the Kangaroos put on a brilliant display of discipline and accuracy in their bowling, along with sheer skill.
Namibia lost their first wicket in the third over, and the floodgates opened. Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins took a wicket each in the third and fourth overs, respectively. In the very next over, Namibia lost opener Michael van Lingen, who was looking good after hitting two boundaries.

Captain Gerhard Erasmus looked to stabilise the innings from this point, but wickets kept falling at the other end. Nathan Ellis took his first wicket in the eighth over when he caught JJ Smit in front of the wicket.
With the score being 18/4, the rest of the team from this point on, besides Erasmus, scored just 14 runs from here. Adam Zampa tore through the Namibian middle order, scalping four and ending with impressive figures of 4/12 in his four-over spell.
Erasmus tried to put up at least some runs on the board, building the inning’s biggest partnership for the ninth wicket of 29 runs with Jack Brussel, where Brussel just scored two runs.
After the skipper departed, the Namibian inning was not long for this world, and the team was bowled out for 72 in the 17th over.
Now that inning would suggest that this was yet another demonic pitch for the batters, but the Australian batters were adamant about loving that notion wrong.
Australia scored just seven runs in the first over, which is still double the required run rate. But after that, this team went berzerk.

David Warner showed how Australia was going to approach this game and hit David Wiese for 16 runs in his first three balls of the second over. He did, however, get dismissed on the very next ball, trying to hit a ball that was outside off and not there to slog.
But the thrashing didn’t stop here, as Warner’s opening partner, Travis Head, took the baton and ran with it, scoring 34 runs in 17 deliveries. Captain Marsh, who came in to bat at no. 3, also batted with a strike rate of 200, scoring 18-off-9.
This utter destruction was enough to take Australia to the target in just 5.4 overs, with Marsh finishing it off in style with a six and a four.
For his four-wicket haul and role in the Namibia batting collapse, Adam Zampa was named the Player of the Match.
With this win, Australia has now won all three of their matches in the World Cup so far and is at the top of Group B with six points. They have also confirmed a qualification for the Super 8.
As for Namibia, they have crashed out of the tournament with just one win and two points in three matches.
