KL Rahul, who was in the opening position in the first 3 Tests, has been in wonderful form. This time, Rohit took his opening position back, and the Karnataka-based wicketkeeper-batsman batted at one down. He lost his wicket to Cummins after scoring 24 runs from 42 balls.

Yashaswi Jaiswal is the key contributor to India’s score by bagging 82 runs from 118 balls. Jaiswal went on a riot over Australian batters by scoring 11 boundaries and 1 six. But the opener got run out by Pat Cummins.

Even after losing 3 key wickets, Indian fans were confident as Kohli was on the crease and had found the rhythm. When it seemed like it would be another Kohli day, Scott Boland thrashed that hope and sent Kohli to the hands of Alex Carey.
