Al-Hilal Defeats Al-Nassr 3-0: Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal defeated Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr 3-0 to maintain their top spot in the league on Friday, Dec 1.
The match saw Al-Nassr have more possession and dominate on stats like passes and pass percentage, but Al-Hilal, who were playing in their home ground of King Fahd International Stadium, pulled off a crucial victory when it came to the league table.
Playing without their star-signing Neymar, who is out with a long-term injury, Al-Hilal started the game four points ahead of Al-Nassr in the standing.

The first half was quite uneventful, with no goals or significant chances being created in the first 45 minutes.
The home team’s first goal came in the 64th minute when right-back Saud Abdulhamid whipped a cross into the opposition box which was slotted into the net by the team’s high-profile Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr looking for an equalizer for 25 minutes, AL-Hilal wrapped the game up with a second goal, this time from their star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 89th minute when he headed in a corner by left-winger Salem Al-Dawsari.

Mitrovic then hit the third and final punch to AL-Nassr in the second minute of stoppage time. With the ball near the edge of the box, he cut inside AL-Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte and whipped the ball past keeper Nawaf Alaqidi.
Despite defender Ali Al-Bulayhi being sent off with a red card in the third minute of stoppage time, AL-Hilal took away the three points from the game and a seven-point lead in the league.
The final images of the game saw Al-Hilal’s home ground chanting Argentine legend Lionel Messi’s name to Cristiano Ronaldo.
