Yuvraj Singh who had given Stuart Broad his worst nightmare by sending his every ball over into the pavilion in the 2007 T20 World Cup, congratulated his student with a wholesome heart.
“Well done; I’m quite happy. You were worthy of it. This is just the beginning, there will be many more,” Yuvraj noted in the video chat with Abhishek Sharma.
Abhishek in an interview conducted by BCCI after the match revealed how important of a contribution Yuvraj Singh has in his budding career.
“After the match, I called Yuvi paji, and to my surprise, he was elated. He expressed that it was a good start, which I believe made him proud, just as my family is. I’m overjoyed, as this success is largely due to Yuvi paji’s unwavering support and guidance over the past 2-3 years. He has dedicated himself tirelessly, not just to improving my cricket skills, but also to my overall development off the field. This is truly a special occasion,” he claimed.
