AB de Villiers praises Dhoni and CSK: Former South African star AB de Villiers has a bold prediction to make. The player who was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL during his time, thinks that MS Dhoni may play three more IPLs if he doesn’t decide to retire.

“MS Dhoni is full of surprises and he may play IPL for another three years. It was good to see his name on the retention list as there were rumors that he could retire after the previous season,”
He also believes that considering the huge purse of 32 crores that CSK have for the IPL 2024 auction, it would work out well in their favor.
“Their big purse is largely due to the release of Ben Stokes, who pulled out of the tournament. With Dhoni and Stephen Fleming, they surely have what they need in the auction,”

“Fleming is a silent assassin and works perfectly behind the scenes,” AB de Villiers added.”
ABD thinks that MS Dhoni is a Piller of the team and he is quite successful behind the cohesion as well as their success in big games.
“CSK don’t look flashy on papers. They look okay but you don’t expect a franchise like Chennai to be making knock-outs every time but they manage it comprehensively. CSK play as a unit and MS Dhoni knows how to lead his players”.
