Aakash Chopra on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma Form: Cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra ponders on Indian star cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s current form. The two big pillars of Indian cricket have been in abysmal form lately as India met a humiliating home series defeat against New Zealand.
Rohit Sharma could only score 133 runs at an average of 13.30 in the last 10 innings. Virat Kohli got a bit better, but that too was not good enough as the Fab 4 member could only accumulate 192 runs in as many as 10 innings.

Aaksh Sharma, on his YouTube channel, opined that two of the greatest cricketers may be approaching the end of their careers. According to him, the numbers that both batters have been producing in the Bangladesh and New Zealand Test series are worrying.
“Is this the beginning of the end, if we talk about Virat and Rohit? They are not looking good. You have the home season numbers in front of you and these numbers are worrying. If these numbers are not worrying you, you are either blindfolded or you don’t want to look that way,” he said (11:00).
Aakash Sharma also said that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s numbers aren’t even comparable to a normal opener or No. 4 let alone the standards of both players.
“These are not Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s numbers. You are not even comparing them with their standards. You are comparing them with the normal standards an opener or No. 4 batter should have,” Chopra added.
