2024 Paris Olympic Ticket Prices Revealed: The prices for the Paris Olympics 2024 tickets have now been revealed and most events during the 17-day sporting extravaganza are expensive, especially for fans traveling from countries like India.
The Paris Olympics will kick off on July 26, the date of the opening ceremony. The events will go until August 11m the day which will see the Olympics come to an end.
103 Indian athletes will compete in 16 sports for the ultimate glory in sports. India’s largest medal tally in the games has been seven, which was achieved back in the Tokyo Games in 2021.
As for the wider world, about 10500 athletes from 206 countries will compete in over 30 disciplines in 32 sports over 17 days in the biggest sporting event in the world. Over 10 million tickets are on sale to watch the best athletes in the world show their craft on the biggest stage.
2024 Paris Olympic Ticket Prices Revealed
As for the ticket prices, about 45% of tickets across all sports will be under 100 Euros (8922.50 INR). The average price for a ticket at the Olympics 2024 will be 101 Euros (9011.73 INR)
The sport with the lowest average price for a ticket is Golf, with a fan on average paying just 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) at the Le Golf National course. On the other hand, unsurprisingly, the highest average price for a ticket will be for the track and field events at Stade de France.

The costliest tickets are for the opening ceremony on July 26. While the cheapest seats for the ceremony are 90 Euros (8030.25 INR), the costliest ones are as expensive as 2700 Euros (240907.50 INR).
Now for prices for some sports that the Indians will have their eyes on in the Olympics 2024. Tickets for Badminton range from 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) to 240 Euros (21409.20 INR). Boxing tickets will range from 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) to 210 Euros (18733.05 INR). For Hockey, tickets will range from 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) to 120 Euros (10704.60 INR). Wrestling tickets will range from 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) to 190 Euros (16948.95 INR). Lastly, for Shooting, tickets will range from 24 Euros (2141.40 INR) to 45 Euros (4014.23 INR).
For the fans who are unable to go to the sites and stadiums for the sports, about 30 fan zones or ‘celebration zones’ will also be built around Paris. These are free-to-visit zones which include giant screens that will broadcast the event. These will be built at major tourist spots and outside the stadiums.
There are also events like the marathon or Race Walk that do not require any tickets.
