2 Indian fans committed suicide after the WC loss: Two Indian fans succumbed to despair amid India’s devastating loss to Australia in the Cricket World Cup final.
India obliterated every team that came in front of them on their way to the World Cup final. This surely increased the expectation of the fans of the team to win the ultimate trophy in cricket. But in the final, Australia strategically annihilated India’s top batting order to fold up India below 250. Chasing, despite the initial hiccups, Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne took the Aussies to the winning shore.
2 Indian fans committed suicide after the WC Loss
The heartbreak took two lives; one is from Odisha, where 23-year-old Dev Ranjan Das decided to take his life by hanging from the terrace. He was reportedly undergoing medical treatment for emotional disorder syndrome.
Another youngster Rahul Lohar, who is also a 23-year-old, hung himself inside his room in West Bengal’s Bankura. His body was sent to the postmortem and declared an unnatural death.
